Simple Collaborative Intelligence

We are the passionate software builders working in the domain of Generative AI. We recognize the power of Large Language and Multimodal Models and strongly believe in their wider applicability in our daily life. Motivated by the advancement of AI in recent years, we took up a mission to democratize the power of AI via simple collaborative strategy, and named in Simple Collaborative Intelligence(SCI). Our mission is to make AI the true personal assistant for every individual, not just for the handful tech-savvy professionals. Here are some observations we made on that journey -

The field of AI evolving at a rapid pace with the emergence of a few Generative AI models in last few years. Since the performance of AI models depends on many factors like Neural Network architecture, amount of data for unsupervised learning, type of annotated data for supervised and reinforcement learning etc., choice of AI models for your daily tasks becomes a challenge.

One size does not fit all. Even if large AI models with billions of neurons inside raises our expectation that they can serve us well in all fronts, the reality is, they are few steps away. We believe the strength of AI lies in delegation and collaboration among AI models. We strive to serve you the best harnessing the power of all AI models, not just the biggest and mightiest one. We offer selection and collaboration.

While each AI models strive to achieve human-level proficiency in silos, the connections among them largely missing at this point. We believe in the power of many over single catch-all AI model. The emerging Generative AI patterns like reasoning, problem solving, coding, function calling etc. along with rise of agentic workflow opens up the new frontier of collaboration at higher level to achieve more and more complex tasks. Such collaboration is only possible when we brings the best of the industry in one place. We trhive to be one.

The current AI service subscription model is fragmented. As a user, you need to sign up to different AI service providers to evaluate and integrate with AI models suitable for your tasks. There are cloud aggregators like AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI or Microsoft Azure AI etc., but the entry barrier to cloud onboarding is high for daily users. We break the entry barrier for AI users and enthusiasts.

The costing model of AI service differs from traditional cloud infrastructure service costing model. We would like to innovate on AI service costing and offer simple yet flexible costing model to the daily users. We start by offering free yet limited AI services to our community members, but committed to eliminate the limitation with competitive costing model in near future.
